ifmme - the institute

We are the institute for modern management development at the HfWU.

Since its establishment in 2013 the ifmme does research for modern approaches and developments in the area of project management and business management. The findings of the research are being transferred into the academic education. We are cooperating closely with the relevant project management associations.

Profile

Our focus on the interaction of project management and business management is unique in Germany and Europe – this provides an edge to our students of the MBA program as well as of the trainings.

  • The ifmme is partner of the GPM Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement e.V.
  • The institutes director Professor Dr. Steffen Scheurer leads the GPM regional group in Stuttgart and is editor in chief of the influential journal projektManagement aktuell

HfWU

The university for economy and environment Nürtingen-Geislingen (HfWU) is one of the 28 university of applies sciences in Baden-Württemberg and one of the few universities with a system accreditation.
